I feel like I’ve been sending all of you on a beach tour of Orange County, but I suppose that its summer so it’s acceptable. I have to tell you all that I was far from excited about this dress when I left the apartment, and then I found this vest in my car right next to these shoes. The whole outfit changed in an instant, and I’m pretty pleased with the outcome. It goes to show where a couple of strategically placed accessories can take an outfit.

Firstly I thought that this was a maxi to the floor dress, which made me fall in love with it.
After seeing its not and you paired it with white socks and black cut out Jeffery Cambell shoes - i dont think i can be more in love.

No hat?!?! I'm shocked! This outfit is one of my favourites. I've got a dress that length and a denim waistcoat (what we call vests over here in the UK!), I might have to get it out tomorrow. My dress is floral though, and it's currently WAY too hot here for socks! x

The print on that dress is almost trippy. I feel like I could dive headfirst into your dress and get lost in some magic land.
And yeah, Britbrit, Korn and Eminem aren't very hipster - but it was a collaborative effort, and I'm pleased to say that my choices for the playlist were by far, 500 times more obscure and ~Indie~. Thus increasing my Indie cred. You're pretty Indie yourself. ;)

Love that studded jacket! I love to dress up the same way and match it with jewelry. that I can easily mix and match, create and re-create. I do go for flexibility and uniqueness --- to wear it both for formal and casual wear, and stand out nevertheless. love the fashion statement of "I am me!" I don't rely on brands or trends.
