Top:Thrift Skirt:Thrift Shoes:Frye
I received a new lens for the camera a couple of days ago, and my boyfriend is still adjusting to using a straight 50mm. As a result, some of these photos are a bit blurry - or as I would call it, "soft focus" - so please hang in there with me. On a side note, my work has been crazy all weekend, so far, and I hope that you guys are getting some r&r while I'm slaving away.

I adore this!! Is the lens a 50mm f/1.8 from Canon? If so, the focus on that one is a bit wonky. Try manually focussing and using the focus preview button to make sure you got it exactly where you want it. Also, since you're shooting at such an open aperture and outdoors, make sure you're shooting at the lowest ISO setting possible, and shoot manually if you can. They're looking a little hot.
But these ones look very good. :) And your outfit it especially cute today girly!!

omg this mix of patterns is amazing!!!!!!!! i have a 50mm too and it does take time getting used to not having so much range and having to walk wayyyyy back to get a full body shot, but it truly is an amazing lens :)

It does take some time to adjust to the 50mm! I'm glad you got that lens!!! Just keep holding down the button until it is in focus and then take the photo. Make sure it's set to auto focus, because it's hard to tell if the image is in focus in manual focus, unless it's a close up shot. You look beautiful as usual!
