Honestly, this whole day is a blur. I went out there with my boyfriend and my best friend Amber. The security was overly tight for a party in the middle of now where. If you weren't on the list with enough plus people to include your entire group you weren't let near the festivities. By the time we got there at 2:00 in the afternoon the beer had run out at the open bar so the only choice of drink was hard alcohol or wine. And sipping wine in the middle of the afternoon in 95 degree weather did not seem one bit appealing. So hard alcohol it was. Festivities included a pool, slip and slide, water balloon fights, and a huge dance floor with a DJ bumping horribly bad music the whole time. It was a truly odd site to see all of these city folks "ruffing it" in the middle of a farm. Horses included. Apparently a couple of bands from the festival held impromptu performances but by that time I was so far gone that I don't remember much of it.
How cool is the igloo? I was oogling it since the time we arrived and then came to find out that it was my friends that created it from scratch out of card board. Apparently it was a really technical operation and took over eight hours to put up! But they had been camping since Wednesday so it was worth it. It was so sad seeing them tear it down the next day.
We didn't take many pictures but I managed to gather some from various friend's cameras to create this post!
Oh and I'm not condoning smoking in these pictures, it's a horrible habit and I would tell anyone never to start.
Now onto today's outfit...
My boyfriend and I made a journey to the orange circle today to peruse a couple of antique malls and do a little vintage shopping. I am sooo tired now it's nap time!
