Cold day in April

Coat: Thrift Skirt: Salvation Army Top: Thrift Purse: Thrift

It's an unusually cold day here in southern california which means I had an oppurtunity to wear one of the many coats I have bought recentlly. I know I should be looking forward to spring time dressing, but whenever I find a great winter coat I can't stop myself from buying it. And recently I have bought four amazing jackets, I was so exited I actually got a chance to wear one of them before next winter! I also got a chance to wear my super sweet Russian fur hat. I feel very 1930's today, I guess yesterday's outfit was a bit too modern so I decided to completely switch it up today. That's what's so amazing about personal style. What you wear truly changes your mood and how you carry yourself from day to day. I'm feeling much less crass today than I normally am.

Also I'm going to be doing a giveaway sometime this week to show my appreciation for all of you and it's either going to be this amazing globe purse or a more streamline briefcase purse which I will post tomorrow. I would appreciate any input you all want to give me about the giveaway or which prize would be most desirable!

That purse is so amazing! Such a cute outfit today, I love unexpected chilly weather in the springtime! It allows you to come up with looks that are so fresh - they only happen when you're totally thrown off by the cold, which is rare, right?

You look like a Russian spy who wiles her way into headquarters and men's hearts! OK I may be romanticizing a bit (a lot), but I love how you wore that Russian hat with mellow neutrals. And that bag! So unique, I love the bag.

you look great! you find such amazing coats, which is so strange considering you live in southern california and i imagine it doesn't get really cold all that often. anyways, you have such a great eye for cool and unique pieces. and i'm sure whatever you decide for a giveaway will be fantastic and we'll all want it!

Even before I saw the text about the giveaway I though, "Wow, what a neat purse."
It's not everyday you see a bag that has a map on it. At least not a cool one.

Your hat is extremely fun. It's classic and elegant but at the same time it's kinda playful. All in all, darling.

As soon as i got to the picture of that purse, I knew I was gonna comment about how much I loved it. Then I got to the end of your post and read you might be giving it away, amazing!

I completely understand always wanting to buy clothes for the season you aren't in. I always find the best stuff, when its completely the wrong time to wear it. Maybe the waiting makes it better, when you finally get to wear it.

That purse is too, too amazing. I love the neutral palette and the global print. And as an Eastern European am always very excited when I see someone looking like a little Snegoruchka in a fur hat!

Just when I think you can't get any cuter, you do! LLLLOOOOVVVEEEE this outfit. It is spring-timey because the colors are all pale. Great ensemble...each piece add so much to the entire look. Hat = Love. Coat = major love. Purse = hearts coming out of the tail pipes. You, my dear, are an Olympian gold medalist dresser.

I don't know if your bag is true. But is seem an Alviero Martini's bag. Alviero Martini is an important fashion's brand in Italy. It is famous in particoular for purses.
Sorry for my language.

I love your hat! I bought a very similar one not long ago, at the goodwill...I LOVE going through all the off-season stuff and trying to guess what I'll be able to wear with what I have at home! Your hat looks SUPER with your hair color! I've just realized what a great fashion "accessory" hair color is, and I'm trying to learn how to do it for myself--but I think that will take a good long time! Please keep posting--I love your combos!
