Glorious

Dress: Goodwill Jacket: Swellegant Socks: Target Shoes: Jeffery Cambell

I don’t know how I managed to make my hair look so glorious in these photos. But it happened, and I’m not complaining! How cute is this little dress? I scored it at Goodwill last week. It was a true diamond in the ruff. And yes I’m wearing my leopard jacket AGAIN. I wear it way more than I let on. I just don’t always want to bore you with the same jacket, so I rarely use it in pictures. But the juxtaposition between the floral print and leopard print was too good not to post!

I think I need to start accessorizing more. I was looking in my jewelery cabinet and I have nothing like two necklaces. I always adore accessories when I see them on others especially when then are piled on with no regard for over accessorizing, but rarely buy any myself. If it's a choice between a garment of clothing or a piece of jewelery I always choose clothing. I think I need to change that. Any good tips for vintage jewelery shops on etsy or something?

Oh dear, I'm in LOVE with the juxtaposition of the leopard and floral, it's so wildly lovely! I completely agree, that dress is truly a diamond out of a sea of secondhand clothes, great find! It goes without saying that I find this outfit tres chic. :)

the socks, shoes, and coat REALLY took my breath away. love what you did here, really unexpected contrast of floral and leopard prints. :)

Meg that is such a lovely dress and as you said the juxtaposition of the two prints makes the outfit that much more interesting. I'm not good on the jewelry front either but I'm looking to change that :p Good luck on the hunt for great jewelry!

Lovely! Your hair colour is great too! I think it's a breath of fresh air to have someone who doesn't layer on the jewelery. =)

Hey! You look super cute in that dress:) Oh and if you are in need of jewelry let me know. I have so much it's coming out of my ears! Lots of lia sophia, forever21, and vintage stuff from the thrift store. I've had it in storage for a year so if I haven't touched it in that long, I probably should give it to a new home.

you are so stylin. srsly i am in love with your dress and how you wore it with the socks and leopard jacket! oh of course you live in cali. :-)

i am similar about jewelry haha. i only buy cheap stuff. but i would say search on etsy like "necklace cameo" or "brooch scottie dog." my fave jewelries are silly animals or gaudy victorian looking things!

Glorious indeed!! I love the little bit of sheerness at the bottom of the dress. I still have to attempt the knee high sock thing but after seeing this pic I might just do that! <3

Whadda find! That dress is beautiful! And you have something to wear under it (or did that come with the dress?). I have quite a few sheer dresses that I can never wear due to lack of undergarment/decency..

A diamond in "the ruff." Ruffles you mean, like the adorable ruffles around your arm. The dress is a delight. Like the combo with the black thigh highs, and LOVE the interplay of patterns of the floral and the leopard print. I'm thinking of dressing up for a week like you would dress up, just got to fight a whole lotta hats! xo.
