Spring Has Sprung

Dress: Goodwill Jacket: Salvation Army Shoes: Jeffery Cambell

I am finally starting to get into the spirit of spring. No more rain dances or longingly looking at the sky waiting for a drop of water to fall. I am officially ready for spring! I went to the pool with my room mate yesterday, and I forgot how relaxing it is. The feeling of laying in the sun soaking up the rays (with the appropriate sun screen of course) is unlike anything else in the world. It's the only place that I feel comfortable doing nothing at all, and at the end of the day I still feel like I accomplished something. I wonder why that is. Maybe it has something to do with vitamin D production? Who am I kidding, I'm no scientist, and I couldn't care about the subject less. As long as I have a good time doing it, than I'm happy!

So, bring it on spring, I’m ready for you

You always wear the hats so well-- it's your signature look! like a grown-up schoolgirl. This outfit reminds me of the 90s, but in an updated fashion. :)

I love the hat and the thoroughly unual colour choices for spring. Its dark without being a cliche. Also I love the way the print on the dress looks like pills or bacteria or something. Very unusual, but the length is so chic! Also I love the braided belt, a nice detail and jeffery campbells shoes are so modern right now, but I love the old school battered feel to yours.
Sorry this comment is ridiculously long.

That hat is so much fun! And the dress is so pretty! The only time I get to "dress up" is when I go out to the post office. How sad is that? Hahaha! Well, now that spring has sprung, I can get dressed up and spend more time outdoors. Lovely blog! :)

I love your blog so much!
The focus is really on your great outfits, and they're all so fantastic and unique.
I think it's really inspiring that so much of your wardrobe is made up of thrifted clothing. I went through your archives the other day, and I could hardly wait to get to my favorite thrift stores to try and imitate some of your looks.
