Little Floral Dress

Dress: Thrift Socks: Urban Outfitters

Thank you so much for your input yesterday! I decided I'm going to switch the lighting up as the feeling of my outfits change. Today, as you can tell, I went with the warm tones.

How cute is this dress? I bought it awhile ago and was debating whether to hem it or not so it hung in my closet for a couple week and then I decided last night just to cut it because I'm way too busy to get it hemmed. I rarely actually go to the tailor, I usually just cut all of my clothing. I need to figure out how to work my stupid sewing machines. I have three at my house and can't figure out how to work ANY OF THEM. I usually just get too frustrated and scrap my project. Wich reminds me, I also need to work on my patients.

Also, I wanted to thank everyone to nominated me for Independent Fashion Blogger's Spotlight of the Week. You can read the interview here. You are all so amazing, I can't get over how supportive you all are of me!

that dress is so cuteeee

I´m the same, I´ve got lots of stuff to fix but I´m too lazy to go to the tailor and I´m really really bad at anything that involves working with my hands...hahahahaha

I don't feel like I live in a place where I can dress like this. people arent free enough to make fashion choices like this for ourselves. we all care too much what everyone else will think. I really envy you. :-) I feel like most of your clothes are vintage but you still manage to look so on-trend.

will always be following!

That dress is awesome. (memo to self: come up with some new adjectives when describing Meggs and her outfits...use words other than lovely, awesome, amazing, etc)

You look so damn gorgeous girl! And you, LIKE TOTALLY deserve all these recent accolades. You have such amazing (see memo) style, and I look forward to visiting your page for new outfit posts. Keep it up. LOVE it!

This is really pretty! I love that you wear hats all the time. I always forget to add those to my outfits.

I cut all my clothing too, and I have no patience for sewing either! My mom can construct simple dress in a few minutes, when the same thing would take me like a week hahaha. Your dress is so pretty though, I love the colors and your socks!

What a lovely dress, it goes so nicely with your floppy hat! Aww don't worry, sewing is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Like you said, patience is very much needed with sewing unfortunately. But hemming isn't too hard, you can do it!

haaaaha! i'm the exact same way... i have had so many sewing machines, sell them, buy a new one, and then never use it... or attempt to use it and get frustrated and stop 1/4 of the way through. i ALWAYS just cut my clothes. and i went to fashion design school. how pathetic is that?

i love these socks. LOVE.

I love that the way you wear thigh highs is not slutty at all. It's refreshing. Most girls who wear thigh highs style it so they look like tramps.

You're amazing.

what an adorable dress! i love how you styled it with the thigh highs and the hat...i feel you with the projects..as i type i am looking at a pile of clothes that need some minor alterations yet my sewing machine is still in its box unopened in my closet..oh well..some day haha

and any awards or nods you totally deserve...i've always loved your blog!
