For all of you that asked I got a Canon Rebel XS. I know I'm able to run it on automatic settings but what's the point of getting a DSLR camera and running it automatically? So for the next couple of days my pictures are going to be all over the place with lighting and focus until I figure out the manual setting better. For now take these as test shots. It's all a matter of trial and error but I'm sure the end product with be worth it!
And I don't know if you can tell in these photographs but my shorts are sea-foam green and amazing.

If you don't already have one, I would suggest getting the remote shutter release -- best $13 spent after getting my XSi. And the 50mm lens is sooo nice as you can open it all they way to f1.8!
