Dress: Vintage, Swellegant Sweater: Thrift Shoes: Vintage
My boyfriend and I snapped these pictures really quick right before work and let me tell you, the beach was a disaster. The holiday weekend really took it's tole, there was trash everywhere. There was even a garbage truck on the beach. I will never understand why people feel it is so hard to carry their trash to the trash can. You came to the beach to enjoy the beauty of it, yet you leave it a mess. I will never understand some people.
That's it for my ranting for the day.
This is one of my favorite vintage dresses. The print is so colorful and unique, the skirt has small pleating detail, and it fits me perfectly. A girl can't ask for anything more.
I too hate litter bugs! I love those espadrilles!

Wow. I tried to snap a couple of pics for an outfit post before work today but it ended up 8 AM awful. Nothing like this one. Whatever is going on outside the frame, these shots look beach perfect :-)

ReplyDeleteyeah, it makes me sad when there's so much trash in a certain pretty place... like when we've gone camping and there's trash everywhere but trashcans just a walk away?! you're here to enjoy nature but you're basically saying you don't care about it... /end rant!

ah yes, very irritating indeed! i was at the beach on monday and witnessed several young children leaving empty water bottles and things behind...it was frustrating to say the least! my sentiments exactly...if you're there to enjoy the beauty of the beach the ocean, why are you littering it???

seeing garbage on the beach makes me SO upset! if i see trash, i'll pick it up and throw it away... it just makes me so angry. there are dumpsters and garbage cans EVERYWHERE, it's not that hard! throw your shit away, guys, it takes a few seconds. i've never understood that, either... the beach is glorious and beautiful and people mess it up with their laziness and lack of respect for the earth. UGH!
