Main Street/ Burns Cowboy Shop
Dress Vintage
I returned from Park City late last night and could not be more upset. I'm stuck in such a rut down here in Southern California. I accomplished more in four days up there than I have in months down here. This just confirms the fact that I need to get out of this place ASAP.
Anyways on a brighter note these pictures were taken at my little sister's work and on Main Street. My little sister's work is such a trip. It's basically the Neiman Marcus of western wear. They sell $20,000 cowboy boots, yes you read that right $20,000 shoes. Who ever said cowboys are hicks has never been to Burn's Cowboy Shop. While browsing the selection I asked my sister to show me the most expensive boots and hat they have at the moment and proceeded to take pictures in them. I have to admit, I felt pretty bad ass in my $2500 boots and $900 hat. If only I have a couple grand to throw around.
Thanks to all of your support, I now have over 1000 followers! I can't believe its already been 8 months since this blog was created, and more importantly, I can't believe the overwhelming kindness of all of you. I guess all I'm trying to say is thank you, your sweet comments make my day.

ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous! I love your dress. I would never be able to wear things that expensive on my body...I'm just too much of a klutz and would find ways to ruin it.
ReplyDeleteRemember how last week was terrible for you? Guess I caught that bug cause this week is becoming the same for me!
The pattern of your dress is so delicate and lovely. And it looks suprisingly perfect with that blue-trimmed cowboy hat.

There is a special twinkle in your eye, today. I believe you are a cowgirl! Your wonderful vintage dress is gorgeous, as are you, Meggs.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your lucky 1000. I'm am so not surprised. You really have an incredible style and spirt, and it adds to my day when I peep at your daily outfit posts. I remember when I first started "discovered" you for myself, you had under 50 followers, and I remember wondering why was there not a big fuss about you, like there is about some of the blogger powerhouses, like the Clothes Horse, Late Afternoon, Chicmuse (all great bloggers, by the way) but I found your style just a rockin'!
Well, I need to wonder no longer. I won't even bat an eye when your blog reaches 100000 followers, and I have the priviledge of visiting the grand opening of your awesome vintage store some day. Because you deserve it, girl.
what a lovely dress!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post!

Congrats on 1000 followers - you totally deserve it, your blog is incredibly inspiring!
