SkirtThrifted Valentino TopThrift

This skirt was my greatest find from last week. I got this vintage Valentino skirt at Goodwill in Inglewood, and like everything else, it was cheap! Like most of my designer finds, I just loved the skirt in the store, and noticed the label when I got home. This little feeling is like icing on the cake for a vintage fiend, and epitomizes one my biggest thrift rules: Buy what works & not by the label – you’ll have a better fitting wardrobe, and save mega bucks. I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekends. I’ve been adding more stuff to my Etsy store over the past few days; so check in and see if there’s anything that you like.

What a beautiful, classic look. I've realized that you've inspired me to want: a) turbans and to wear more hats 2) long, high waisted skirts and 3) a tiny narrow waist and lovely long legs.

Well, at least I can purchase 1 & 2. xo. -Bella Q

AMAZING find! I have to say I am guilty of falling for labels at thrift stores but if it doesn't work it just doesn't and I have to be honest and leave it behind. But the skirt is fantastic and the label is just a cherry on top! PS - I am psyched that you made an etsy store because I want to steal everything from your closet!!!

That's how I come across my designer vintage, too. I never really scour the racks for labels, so it's almost like you get to feel excited about a piece all over again when you get home. :)

How very lucky? I have found some amazing things at Goodwill recently! Such a wonderful skirt! You should create a safari look, white/cream linen button down, wide brim hat! That's what I'm envisioning, but I do love this! You know I adore your style :) We must catch up soon please!

You gotta love those Goodwill designer finds. I found Diane Von Furstenberg, St. John, Armani, and Lanvin all for under $25 within the past two months. I loveeeee it!

Beautiful outfit. I agree with your philosophy, sometimes designer goods are only purchased because of their label and not what it looks like or how it fits. I look forward to seeing some more of your tasteful outfits. xo

that printed top complements the skirt so well. i don't why but this ensemble seems like a new take on the military look. the printed top reminds me of camouflage print....unless im going crazy! haha!
