Dress: Thrifted Shoes: Seychelles Sweater: Urban Outfitters
After procrastinating for months, I finally took these boots in to get a new zipper put in. It was a little pricey, but I can't even explain to you how much I love these boots. It's really hard for me to find a boot that is small enough for my puny calf and when I found these babies three years ago I quickly bought them in black and brown because I knew I wouldn't find anything like them again. And guess what? I haven't! You will be seeing these ad nauseum for the next couple of months so I apologize in advance.
the fourth shot is so adorable! you are really pretty and those boots are great! I love lace ups!
ReplyDeleteI think the cost of getting beautiful shoes fixed is well worth it. And they are absolutely beautiful
ReplyDeletewow nice dress and bag!

love this dress - it has a very 1950's vibe.
ReplyDeletei'm a huge proponent of taking shoes to the tailor. i think you save so much money in the end, even if it's a bit more expensive than you had anticipated.
your hair is radiant!
ReplyDeleteWow, this outfit is spectacular... love the edgy boots paired w/ the dress... so unexpected :)

LOVE all of this! Especially the hat! I'm obsessed with hats lately! Love that you did tha instead of throwing them out! It seems pricey but I always find it is worth the hassle of trying to find a new pair that fit properly!

ReplyDeleteOh I have the same problem, I have thin calfs (the only thin thing I have hehe) so I also have a hard time finding boots that fit right, those boots are amazing and the outfit too!
ReplyDeletebaaahh, your boots are to die for!! and your dress is lovely.
ReplyDeleteyou look so adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is so epic in its twirliness. :D And yes! I have that same problem too, both with procrastination and scrawny calves. I'd try a really nice-looking pair on, only to have my legs look comically small sticking out of the boots like two pale sticks, haha.

Megan,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment, you are too sweet. Sorry to hear the same thing has happened to you too! They ran all of the same tests last year, but they all came up normal. My doctor said that sometimes they will look normal earlier on though and as time progresses, some things may start to show up. It's just a complete bummer really and slightly annoying.
Thanks again for the well wishes girl xx

Your hat wearing ways remind me of Blossom (in the best possible way!). I'm jealz of your hat collection, for sure! Those boots are SO GOOD, reminding me of an early 20th century lady going on a hiking trip. I'm not sure if that made sense, but basically I love the Victorian/Hiker vibe they send. Andddd I like that you wear the same couple of pairs of shoes...makes me feel like I'm not the only one!
ReplyDeleteI could pinch your cheeks you are so adorable, Meggs. Yeah, those boots worth every penny. Twice.
ReplyDeletehope you don't mind me asking ... how tall are you? I'm really curious =)

You look so cute and cozy. :)
ReplyDeletelove the print on your dress!!
ReplyDeletevery cute, lovely dress
ReplyDeleteThose boots are absolutely perfect--totally worth whatever you spent on getting them fixed. I have slightly wide calves but not wide enough for "wide calf" boots, so finding the absolute perfect fit is hard for me, too--hang onto them when you find them! :)
