Coat Weather!

Skirt: Thrifted Cardigan: Splendid Blouse: Thrifted Jacket: Vintage Shoes: Seychelles

Its, finally, cold enough to pull out the big guns - aka. coats.  I've been sitting on piles of coats for close to a year now, and I'm so happy to finally get to wear them!  This coat gives me a Russian feeling, but I also love how the color accentuates dark lines & dark colors. 
That's the key for heavy outer-wear - find a coat that works with what you're wearing; not dominating it.  
I hope that you're all having a good weekend - I have some fun stuff planned for once instead of just working.

    What a fantastic coat!

    Personally, I'm more than ready to break out my own coat collection. I've found so many cute ones over the past year, but the weather keeps wanting to stay so warm where I live.

    wow, i love this!! i think my favorite part is the scarf belt (is it indeed a scarf? if so i'm totally stealing the idea, just so you know). love that little bit of playful color. that coat is amazing. what a great find! and the skirt is so lovely.
