Sweater: Thrifted Blouse: Thrifted Jeans: Courtesy of James Jeans Shoes: Seychelles

It’s been three days of sporadic rain, and holiday season beginnings. Work has been picking up, temperatures dropping, planes crashing and between it all, I had time to open a dialogue with the good people at James Jeans who offered to send me a pair of their lovely jeans a few weeks back. After reviewing their catalog, I found a pair that I liked. However, when shipped, they were too big and I decided to succumb to their insistence that I would like this style more. I have to admit that I was pretty apprehensive to receive a pair of their coveted jeggings, because as you all know I am in no way a leggings kind of girl. However, after receiving them I was sold. They are absolutely perfect, and the only part I attribute to the jegging label, is the incredibly soft denim. Also, to my surprise, they are relatively high-waisted - icing on the cake. In fact, I am such a fan that the day after receiving them I called my sister and insisted she buy a pair for herself! Hop over to their website and check them out they have every wash imaginable as well as a cargo style which may just have to be my next purchase.

BTW, I wasn’t kidding about a plane crash – a three passenger plane crashed a few hundred yards behind my apartment last night = crazy!

That is so mad about the plane crashing near your house, hope all's ok. I love the colour of your cardigan, it really stand out against the monochrome outfit. Your brooch and bag are so cool too!

They don't look like typical jeggings at all! Great outfit. Love how you're wearing the brooch. As for the plane crash - how frightening!

Wow, I've never really been a fan of jeggings before, but these look really nice! Normal jeans are always too baggy on me because I'm so short...I wonder if jeggings would suit me better!

This outfit is just perfect, as usual - I'm so envious of your hat collection! And wow, a plane crashed behind your house? Seems like you dodged a bullet there! ;O

i've always been kind of intimidated by the jegging. mostly because the word is so ugly. but you proved me otherwise. you seriously look fantastic.

Ahhh that plane crash landing sounds like The Aviator or Desperate Housewives. You know one time I had the craziest dream ON THE PLANE, I was at home looking out of my bedroom window and I was witnessing a plane coming towards my house and bam I woke up, sweating and panting. Crap. I'm glad you're okay. Do you know what happened to the passengers? Yay I'm glad you like the jeggings! I don't wear jeggings too, but if they're high waisted, I'll take them any day! :)

Anonymous said...

love the hat!!!
and your legs are amazing! :)

I saw you in Lucky Magazine dear! I was like ah, she looks so familiar! I'm not really a leggings type of girl either. Tights are much better!
