I couldn't resist this little crushed velvet number when I spotted it at Salvation Army last week. I am a sucker for anything short and babydoll cut. Also, I have developed a weird obsession with velvet recently. Maybe it's the dramatic new climate I am living in- because not much goes together better in my mind than snow and velvet!

I am totally with you, and the velvet obsession. It just seems so rich, and lovely. My grandmother used to always tell me redheads can't wear red, I am one too, and this picture completely tears that idea to shreds.
