Other than jeans and a sweater that's three sizes too big,
this is my go to combination for comfort- a silky shirt and oversized trousers.
I read people's comments about how they wish they could wear trousers and make
them flattering, and I'll let you all in on a little secret (are you ready for this?)
- it's all about the shoes. When paired with sky-high heels trousers are absolutely
flattering, and in my opinion, just as comfortable as sweat pants.

    Y'know, that's a trend that I've noticed with a lot of fashion bloggers (and fashionistas in general); go cheaper and vintage with the clothes, but splurge on the shoes. I can't say that I necessarily follow this rule myself, but I can see how it works. I mean, shoes are something that you have to wear every day (in most societies), right?

    I also really love the color of that silky blouse and how you casually buttoned it in the back. :)

    You look wondrous in trousers!! I am always rifling through thrift stores to find high-waisted silk pants but apparently someone is snatching all of them up because all I can find is that weird, dense, khaki fabric from the 90's... hmmm... also, teal really brings out your eyes. Is that creepy to say???

    Adore the color of your blouse! You are always the best at pulling an outfit together my dear. The SF Expo was really good...but... some things were pretty expensive. Like $400 for a dress expensive. I would have loved to buy everything there. It was hard to not! I xoxo
