Chevron

Cardigan: Goodwill Hat: American Cancer Society Thrift Dress: Found in my closet (AKA I forgot where I bought it) Tights: Target Socks: Target Shoes: Jeffrey Cambell

I always find it funny that the people you would least expect (AKA the Chevron attendent) appreciate what your wearing. This morning I went into Chevron for my obligatory cigarette and monster run, and the attendent asked me if I was a clothing designer, or a celebrity, becuase she said I always look so stylish when I come in. This always suprises me because my style is anything but normal or even classically stylish. I love when people that have no interest in fashion recognize that something I'm wearing is stylish, because it makes me realize that you don't have to follow the latest trends to make a lasting statement. If something is put together nicely, regardless of how outlandish, even the person you least expect is able to recognize that. It gives me faith that fashion isn't just important to the people that are passionate and follow it, but that everyday people also enjoy clothing-maybe not at obsessively as me- but each in their own way.

You are soooo stylish, lady, and the main unforgettable thing about you is that it is so apparent that you don't do anything to "stay on trend," but dress to thrill yourself. And you do it so expressively too. I'm so digging the fact that like me, you're wardrobe is 95% thrifted and the rest seems from Target, lol. You rock fashion majorly and you don't need "it" bags or labels to do so. INSPIRATIONAL!

You are so inspirational to me. I love all your outfits you know! I have a photo shoot today, I gotta edit a documentary, breakdown a 100 page script, so I promise I will interview you soon! Whoa, I just read your comment about the D&B bag... were you serious? If so, I might just fall and cry! You are amazing. I will repay you!

Whoa you are too kind. When I have the chance and money, I will stop by Goodwill and find something for you! How does that sound? Yay, then I have something to blog about! Bloggers swap woo! :)

I promise I will find time to interview you soon. :)

your taste and style is incredible indeed. The other day, I took me and my sick self to the pharmacy... feeling like death while waiting in line... an old woman (80's) stopped to tell me she loved what I had "put together"... nice.
so lovely.
those moments are priceless.

A librarian once told me, "I wish my daughter dressed like you. You always look so chic!" It's always nice when people you see everyday express an appreciation for style (compliments don't hurt either, lol).

Sorry, I know I just posted, but then I remembered this and... well brain to fingers, immediately. Bah.
