First off, I told you all that my outfit was going to be quite patriotic - hopefully, I didn't disappoint. However, I hate the color red, and I'm still not sure where this top came from. I was tearing through my dresser when this shirt just jumped out at me. I have no idea how long I have had it or why on earth I bought it in the first place but it does make for something fantastically patriotic when paired with this little blue jumper. Happy fourth to all of you Americans out there, and if you're reading this blog from abroad, you should blow up some firecrackers anyhow.

  2. I love your pattern matching. It doesn't follow any of the rules I've read, and looks so much better! Happy 4th of July, from elsewhere in California!

  5. Well, no disappointment here! LOVE it! Once again, you take a sort of dowdy '80's element and make it fresh, modern and sexy! That kind of top was such a soccer mom top back in the '80's but you my dear are anything but. LOVE the mixed prints, LOVE the Americana reference, and the fact it is so utimately without a hint of kitch. The straw hat, a deep blue, just ices the firecracker cake.

Always a treat to visit this page. xo. -Bella Q
