First off, I told you all that my outfit was going to be quite patriotic - hopefully, I didn't disappoint. However, I hate the color red, and I'm still not sure where this top came from. I was tearing through my dresser when this shirt just jumped out at me. I have no idea how long I have had it or why on earth I bought it in the first place but it does make for something fantastically patriotic when paired with this little blue jumper. Happy fourth to all of you Americans out there, and if you're reading this blog from abroad, you should blow up some firecrackers anyhow.
Well, no disappointment here! LOVE it! Once again, you take a sort of dowdy '80's element and make it fresh, modern and sexy! That kind of top was such a soccer mom top back in the '80's but you my dear are anything but. LOVE the mixed prints, LOVE the Americana reference, and the fact it is so utimately without a hint of kitch. The straw hat, a deep blue, just ices the firecracker cake.
Happy 4th of July, my dear! Well you may not wear red a lot, but the pattern of this top is amazing, I love that it's so loose and comfy looking! It is very patriotic, I just noticed the tiny stars! I hope you have a wonderful day and please can we chat soon!!!
WAWAWEWOW! Those pins!!! Loving teh ictorials as always - Im beginning to think (it hurts) where does one store all your bits and bats - never ending!! HA
How can you hate the color red?? D: Oh, that hurts. Hahaha, but I do love your outfit! I love how you played all those patterns and that hat! Where on earth would you get an awesome thing like that?
You have one of the best wardrobes I've ever seen. I love the color red on you too. It seems to go well with your skin tone and everything. I hope you guys enjoy a nice relaxed weekend!
Eeep! This outfit so so good! Loving the mix-matched prints. I wish I had some firecrackers. Although I think they're illegal here anyway. Maybe sparklers will suffice haha.
thankyou for following megan! :) oh, and i know what you mean! usually the shorts i found are HUGE and its particularly bad for me as i have smaller hips so ridiculous to find perfect fitting shorts and jeans!
That's a very interesting shirt, looks quite unique. You styled it so well with the jumper and hat! A very cute and rather understated patriotic look, but not too understated, so even a European like me sees the topic :)
i think you subconsciously knew you would need that top a few years ago because it couldn't be a more perfectly cute 4th outfit. i am in love with the shorts!
I'm absolutely in love with this outfit! I think this has to be my favorite 4th of July outfit I've seen so far. I love that you even had a blue hat haha..too cute
wow how beautiful and vibrant! looove it!

I love your pattern matching. It doesn't follow any of the rules I've read, and looks so much better! Happy 4th of July, from elsewhere in California!
