Other than jeans and a sweater that's three sizes too big,
this is my go to combination for comfort- a silky shirt and oversized trousers.
I read people's comments about how they wish they could wear trousers and make
them flattering, and I'll let you all in on a little secret (are you ready for this?)
- it's all about the shoes. When paired with sky-high heels trousers are absolutely
flattering, and in my opinion, just as comfortable as sweat pants.

Y'know, that's a trend that I've noticed with a lot of fashion bloggers (and fashionistas in general); go cheaper and vintage with the clothes, but splurge on the shoes. I can't say that I necessarily follow this rule myself, but I can see how it works. I mean, shoes are something that you have to wear every day (in most societies), right?
I also really love the color of that silky blouse and how you casually buttoned it in the back. :)

I am always rifling through thrift stores to find high-waisted silk pants but apparently someone is snatching all of them up because all I can find is that weird, dense, khaki fabric from the 90's... hmmm... also, teal really brings out your eyes.
