This past week has been one of the most heartbreaking weeks of my life. In the previous post I mentioned that Dupree, the kitty my bf and I were taking care of for over six months, was all mine. Well, it turns out his previous owner is the biggest wack job in Park City, and after numerous talks with him about relinquishing ownership he went back on his word and is now holding Dupree captive in his shithole of a house. Its been really rough on an emotional level, having part of your family held against will, but we're remaining optimistic and refuse to give up on our little buddy.
All of this trauma would have been too much to deal with if my boyfriend didn't receive news that he got a killer new job that combine his passions of writing, cycling and getting big paychecks.
Keep your fingers crossed for Dupree, and expect to see some "FREE DUPREE" shirts in the future if this doesn't go the way that we're hoping for.

oh my god. the SAME THING happened to me with my cat. he was given to me as a present as a kitten & then the dick head who gave him to me decided he wanted to keep him & took him back. so I obviously did what any sane person would do & broke into the guy's house & stole him back. seriously. it was kind of a big ordeal & the original owner called the cops but they really couldn't do anything EXCEPT kitty dna testing to prove that the guy's other cat was the mother of the one I took. but that cost a lot of money & never happened. anyway, I totally know how you feel & I hope you get your kitty back! FREE DUPREE!
it never seizes to amaze me how ridiculous some individuals can be, but it's still nice to see that you have a smile on your face. best of luck in freeing dupree.
