Today has been an exciting day - nature walks, antique stores, delicious sandwiches at the beach and a visit to my boyfriend's sponsor, RVCA. The applicable part of my day, though, was a return to the nature preserve by my house, where I saw the spooky coyote tail (which turned out to be a really ugly plant) a couple of weeks ago. The day was gorgeous, and there were ground squirrels, a real mole peaking out of its little hole, and a snake! Its crazy that this is the first wild snake that I've ever seen, and I'm glad that it wasn't a poisonous little guy. To my surprise, I wasn't terrified beyond my BF going "woah!" as I almost stepped on it. Instead, it was really pretty neat, but the little snake was in a hurry to get the hell away from us. This is becoming my, new, favorite picture spot.
Also, I have to tell you all that I had a blogger hang sesh with none other than Brit from Disarming Darling, and yes, she looks just as beautiful & bad ass in person. The plan was to do a little thrift shopping, but it turned into us just sitting around chit chatting for a couple of hours. It's crazy how the blogger world brings us all together! This is the first time I had met Brit in person, and it felt like we were old friends. However, we were both bad bloggers, because the thought of taking pictures to share never occurred to us. If you haven't visited her site you should hop on over there, you won't be disappointed!
